At the G20 Social in Brazil, November 2024, Praeveni CEO Kevin and Fred Axelgard, (a Praeveni board member), worked with the support of the IF20 to successfully introduce wording on the urgent need to address modern slavery into the Leaders’ Declaration. It has been four years since exploitation and modern slavery were included in the annual leaders’ declaration. This important restatement will allow us to advance the issue at the next G20 meeting in South Africa in November 2025.

With the cooperation of the IF20 and in anticipation of the G20 summit in November, Praeveni will host a series of monthly webinars on human trafficking, prevention and faith.
