Dr Fred Axelgard is committed to a world view. He seeks to promote interfaith collaboration as Executive Coordinator of the G20 Interfaith Forum and advisor to its Human Trafficking working group. He is active in global efforts to mentor young professionals of faith as President of the EuroSeminar Foundation and as a Board Member of the Latter-day Saint International Society and the John A. Widtsoe Foundation. Professionally, he served in the United States Senate, the Near East Bureau of the U.S. Department of State, the Center for Strategic & International Studies at Georgetown University, General Dynamics Corporation, and the Wheatley Institute at Brigham Young University. He received degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (MA, PhD). He and his wife Robyn reside in Orem, Utah, and have five children and sixteen grandchildren.
